The Methuen Young People’s Theatre, as a program of the Methuen Memorial Music Hall, is overseen by the Music Hall’s Board of Trustees through its Youth and Scholarship Committee. MYPT’s day to day operations are managed by a volunteer committee which comprises parents, community members, and trustees of the Music Hall, all serving without compensation and actively participating in all phases of the MYPT program. These volunteers bring a broad range of professional talents and abilities to guide the children in the production.
The committee members are augmented by experienced professionals in music and music education, including a director and a music director. Our staff complement allows substantial opportunity for individual attention and training and for work with soloists, ensembles and chorus sections.
